This weekend we skipped away for our last visit with Aunt Becky and Dave before the babies are born.
We got there Friday afternoon and went for a walk to a "nearby" park. I didnt take any pictures because I was too busy trying not to die. Toward the end we got ice cream at Ted Drewes.
On Saturday we went to Eckerts for the Strawberry Festival.
Caden picked nearly every one he saw and exclaimed "This good one!"
It reminded me somewhat of The Grapes of Wrath. Pop Quiz: what fruit did the family in that story pick to earn a living? (not grapes)
A real, live Strawberry Shortcake
They also had a kids amusement park
And a petting zoo.
Whatever this thing is, I want one. It's like a living pillow pet.
For real, put it on my Christmas list.
Tomorrow I will post about our trip to the zoo...
