Mom finally remembers to upload her Christmas Pictures...
We spent last week relaxing
It was nice just to chill out. All the gifts were bought and there wasn't a sense of urgency to get anything done.
We even made a gingerbread house, which was a first, although it was from a box, because I was terrified to make my own gingerbread. We let it set up for a day, then we ate it.
The kids ran circles in the living room for about a half hour screaming "I'm a record, I'm a record! I'm so dizzy!"
Christmas Eve we went to Nomi's (my mom)
Her most cherished gift - a Princess fishing pole.
2nd Annual CHRISTMAS COOKIE DECORATING EXTRAVAGANZA!
Then it was off to Nana and Papa's
and dreamland for this little guy.
Then it was time to go home and get to bed. Our kids were worn out.
I love our stockings. Though they make we want a fireplace.
Our Charlie Brown Christmas Tree.
We don't usually do Dora but what the hay, its Christmas
I don't know how you all feel about little boys and guns. I figure, he's going to turn anything we give him into a gun anyway, at least this way daddy can have some fun too and mama gets to eat marshmallows.
What's going on? What is all this stuff and why am I up so early?
I dont have a lot of pictures from Queenie and Grandpa's either, I thought I forgot my camera, and didnt find it until later.
Got to snuggle with this little marshmallow
And the girls had fun blow drying their hair on the fan above the stove.
This is what I love about this family.
Ethan got a glow in the dark dinosaur puzzle and though he had put it together several times, all the big boys helped him do it again, and over and over, at his request went into the library to see it glow. "You are NOT going to believe this!" he would say enthusiastically. And every single time, they would all follow him in there, turn off the lights, and all through the house you could hear their exclamations of "WOW! That is so cool! I can't believe this!"
Queenie got an iPad. Ethan is quickly becoming proficient in some game called Angry Birds.
Well, that's our Christmas in a nutshell. It was fun and relaxed and joyful. We hope yours was too!
