I know its Wednesday and that usually, sometimes, if I think about it means Wordless Wednesday, but I'm breaking the rules.

A metal detector! And its pretty fantastic.
So we've been digging up lots of treasure this week.
Except this guy. He wasn't really into it. He was into taking naps in the shade, which is also pretty fun.
We found some pretty neat stuff. Jeremiah said this is a .22 something-or-other.
In two days of hunting, among other things, we have found
a penny
11 nails and screws
an old metal canning lid and ring
a perfect condition porcelain canning lid with some sealing wax still on it
door hinges
barn door hinge thing with the nuts and bolts still in
a washer
a huge heavy pipe nut thing which Ethan is convinced came from a pirate ship engine. You can't tell him any different.
Oh the adventures of boys! My living room is a giant fort right now as it is a bit warm still outside. A fort that has grown to match the room and luckily we need no blankets as they are all being put to good use.
